I’m a Master Procrastinator
Procrastination is a gift of mine. I love putting something on the bottom of my list that needs to be done but I don’t want to do. I mean it’s on my list, but I will find 30 other things that absolutely have to be done before that task that I loathe.
I mean who wants to clean the bathroom? That boring training module you have to do in 4 months? That can wait till the last day. I’m not doing it right now and yes it feels good to not be doing it, but damn its always there in the back of my mind, living rent free until the day I finally get around to doing it.
Instead of getting it done, you torture yourself with 4 months of procrastination. Or worse, infinitely putting something off that doesn’t have a due date will really wear on you over time.

Re-Negotiate Your Own Contracts With Yourself
Two things could be happening here. Either, you have to get the task done and you are just a master procrastinator, or something has changed and that item no longer holds the value it did when you first put it on the list.
In this case, it’s best to set a time limit for your task. If something is still on your list 2, 3, or 6 months later, it probably isn’t as important as originally thought. Its time to re-negotiate with yourself and if able, release the item from your list, and get it out of your head.
If, however there is a task you absolutely need to do but have been putting off, this weeks challenge is to stop the procrastination and do that thing you don’t want to do that doesn’t have a due date. You now have one. It’s due by the end of the week. So get on it.
